Progress? :)

I've continued to play around with Rhino and think I'm going to try 3D scanning a hand/wrist and then importing it into Rhino to slice up and play around with making a mold to cast a hand/wrist from. Oh, where am I going to get a hand/wrist to scan you ask?........Old Navy:) yep I went Old Navy and Kohl's yesterday evening to get some old mannequin parts!!!! So now I'm the very proud owner of two arms (with hands) and two broken hands. The lady at Old Navy threw in a child's torso for fun, I don't need it but what the heck:) Now I have to fix and modify the hands to use as my model or scan them to play around with creating a mold.

H1N1 Research and Selection of Site

Design Project: Design a personal protection device to protect one from H1N1!

After researching H1N1 and realizing that most people contract this disease by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching their mouth, nose, or eyes. I have decided to focus on creating a antibacterial dispensing device that can be worn inconspicuously on the wrist or fingers. Im in the process now of attempting to draw a model of a wrist and hand on which to place my device. If that don't go well i might just make a cast of it and pour it with plaster :) or import an already build model into Rhino, got to love the internet!!!
